After my time in the military, I moved back to my home town
where I worked for my father’s company doing pest control temporarily. I then
got a job with a home security system company selling and installing home
alarms. after a few years of that, I got back into pest control. During
that time, I took a few years of martial arts self-defense training. A few years later, I
was offered a chance to re-enlist and work in the intelligence field for law
enforcement. It was working in the intelligence side of law enforcement, that I
got to see crime from the inside and in a different light. Many times, I got to
see it from the criminals’ perspective. What I found gave me a whole different
view of crime and the emotional tolls the victim have to endure.
With what I learned working in pest control, alarm company,
self defense training, and law enforcement, I was able to put many of those
experience to good use in developing a collection of vulnerabilities, crimes,
and security I would like to educate you on.
An interesting note
from my experiences, approximately 85 percent of the home alarms I sold, I sold
AFTER a break in had already occurred. Proof that a false sense of security is
alive and well. Of the houses I serviced, about half left the front door
unlocked, had a key “secretly” hidden near the door, and many more had the
alarm system turned off.
The sad part of the crimes I saw, is that about 90% of it
was preventable. The biggest reason it was not prevented is that the victims
were completely unaware it was possible or that the crime even existed.
Therefore, the victims had absolutely no defense against it.
What we must realize is that we live in a different world
today. Twenty or thirty years ago, the crimes of today didn’t exist. Back then,
who would of ever thought of flying an airliner full of innocent passengers
into a building? Who would of thought of bombing at public marathon using a
crock-pot, or a mass shooting at a US Army base by an Army officer?
Just as those things have changed, so have the crimes of
today. Now, with today’s technology and the easy profits to be made through
these new crimes, coupled with the public’s ignorance, it’s even easier to
perpetrate the crimes and many times, the victims are unaware a crime was
even committed against them until it’s too late. The criminal will be long gone and
the victim will be left in emotional tatters when they realize they’ve been
violated.
So what are the vulnerabilities and the crimes I’m talking
about? These are crimes against your personal security, home security, and dignity. The vulnerability
is the false sense of security you have because you’ve done what you think
you know to do, but, you can’t be truly secure if you don’t know what these
covert crimes are.
I will show you these crimes, techniques, and violations
against your security, and I will also show you how you can protect yourself
against them.
What I will show you may shock you and may even give you the
creeps. My intention is not to scare you or make you paranoid since living in fear is not life, but I firmly
believe that you must know about these crimes and threats that are out there
so you may have a better understanding of how to protect yourself and your loved
ones.
My program is NOT a Multi Level Marketing program, this is
NOT a presentation designed to sell you some super high tech thousand dollar
system, this is NOT an investment scheme, this is NOT a club you can join nor
will you have to sign anything.
This is simply, an opportunity to learn how to protect
yourself against the threats of today, while getting educated and arming
yourself with knowledge. I do sell a few products, which I will present, but if
you look at it more as insurance rather than another product, you’ll be better
equipped to protect yourself. Don’t be the burglary victim that waits till
after their house is broken into, to spend thousands of dollars to get an alarms system
installed.
What does this entail? Well, you get 6 or more of your closest
female friends and or family members together at your house, I will set up my
presentation using your TV and DVD player to demonstrate the vulnerabilities
and threats. The presentation will take anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes depending on questions asked. This
presentation will actually demonstrate your vulnerabilities and expose the
threats you may be unknowingly vulnerable to in your every day life. Then, I will show you how to protect yourself with
some of the products and your newfound knowledge.
I can assure you that here are no high-pressure sales tactics, guilt trips or gimmicks, just a
new and different perspective on your personal security.
So why don’t I just tell you about these vulnerabilities and
threats it on this blog or website? Well, I could describe the Grand Canyon and
The Great Pyramids of Egypt here but you would never get the true impact of
seeing them for yourself in person. Trust me, it just wouldn’t be the same.
So, follow this blog or subscribe to keep learning about
the latest crimes and security issues affecting various aspects of women's' lives. I will keep updating this blog to keep you informed of new
trends, security issues and anything that might be helpful to you in the way of personal security. I will also
post issues regarding misconceptions about security and self-defense which may help you in today's different world.
Be safe and live in peace.
